Does anyone know if I can purchase park to park tickets at the Hotel Ticket Desk and get a discount using my AP or does this need to be done at guest services at the park? Trying to decide if we get tickets for DS’s girlfriend ahead of time from UT or morning of at hotel.

I can’t remember if the hotel attraction desk does that
or if it needs to be activated in the park

I’m sure someone that is current on the policy will jump in and answer your question

I just got off the phone with calling Sapphire Falls direct and he said they could do that there because they have the same system as guest services in the park. So fingers crossed! Still debating over benefits of going through UT vs UO but it sounds like that’s an option.

Sorry… one more question. If I get her tickets at the hotel ticket desk, what would the ticket look like? Paper with a barcode?

The hard tickets are credit card size and semi-durable (better than normal paper, not waterproof plastic though).

You may want to ask what the actual gate price is. It's usually about $20 more than Universal's online price, so you may need to do math to figure out if there is actually a savings using the AP discount vs buying online.

Note if you buy online, you can also stop by the ticket counter and get an actual physical ticket, for convenience. Though you don't have to.

Oh awesome that would be great! Would this be the same process if I purchased a UT e-ticket too… that they’d convert it to a plastic card?

Oh, I figured out what it is! It's like those pay tickets you get at a parking garage to feed back into a machine later. That kind of paper.

Yes.
Though it isn't plastic. It's like water resistant thick paper. But convenient credit card size. Much better than the UT printout you would otherwise use.
Perfect thank you very much!! I think UT it’ll be then after doing some math.
