AP discount in ship's stores?

Inlaws are wondering if their WDW AP discount is applied in any of the stores on board the Fantasy or at CCay.

I don't think there are AP discounts especially since the cruise and parks aren't the same division.

I have tried several times for both AP and DVC and was always shot down.

Unfortunately they are no AP or DVC discounts on board the ships stores, however if you are Gold or Platinum Castaway Club Member you do receive a discount on purchased items.

There is currently a DVC discount, 10% off of a $50 purchase. This benefit started in May.

Also, I was told last week the gold/platinum discount doesn't apply to purchases on Castaway Cay.
