If you have a PAP or DAP can you get a discount for the Fantasmic! dessert seating?

How far in advance can you book for your date?

I wish! No discounts for AP's. Reservations open up 30 days out from show date.

Correct ... no discounts on the price for premium desert seating.

Ticket sales do open 30 days in advance adn they do seel out quick, but I've been able to get tickets as late as just 2 weeks out. If you've got a larger group, don't wait.

Thanks. Once we camped out and waited forever for a good location (years ago) and once we paid for the dessert buffet seating on the veranda of the gallery (which is now the private suite).

The photos make it look like you are off to the left side, over by HM. I am wondering if you feel like you're getting a front and center view of the island and the ship or if it's kind of like you get the tail end of things over there? Is it too far away from the main action?

If it just off of center. I feel you are tilted slightly looking at the stage area and you see the boats coming at you. Whie not against the water, you are close enough and raised above the people who sit on the ground who are in the deep section that goes upto the rail. From the stage it's only about 15% further so not a huge difference. The main problem with sitting there is, if you aren't in the front row of chairs it's a little hard to see over the people in front of you. Of course the case is the same if you are sitting on the ground.

Is there somewhere to sit while you are waiting to pick your seats?

Some websites say the dessert seating is at the terraced area in front of the French Market and is central to the main screen, other sites say it's in front of the HM which is a bit off to the left side.

Also, I thought I remembered there being two dessert areas for Fantasmic! in the past. One more central and one by the HM.

What is the current situation?

Not really, but of course if your party can split up, there are benches nearby to sit on.

The former. Near HM is where you line up.

Have you seen the F! Superthread?
In the thread if you scroll down a but is an arial photo. The seating area is in blue #7. The meeting area is #8 in the upper left.

Found the thread, thanks. Photo shows dessert seating as #7 which stretches from middle light pole clear over to #8 by HM. If that's the case, I imagine people line up not only to get the front row but closer to the center of the show.

Sorry I switched the number in my post. When the F! dessert package sells out it stretches the area to the left in the photo above. When you are planning, Mother's Day and in October this is quite likely at least for the first show since the shows are weekends only and it's a special time to visit..

The seats in the first two rows are best because the chairs are staggered. The view on the very left near HM is not great for a few small parts of the show but fine for most and better for some.

You can see a picture of the left view in the Fantasmic Superthread near the end of the first post.

I think you've posted on my other thread about whether to go on Fri. (grad night) or Sun. (Mother's Day). Now I don't know which night to try for F! Either one it sounds like we might have to spring for the dessert seating since they may be crowded without a second showing.

Or would there be a second show on Mother's Day? Then we might be able to get a decent spot w/o paying.

Mother's Day should have two.

In reality F! is always crowded, just some days super crowded. This is because in offseason, like May, it's weekend only, while during the Holidays and Summer it's nightly.
