I'm confused, do you have the option of paying rack rate and taking the dining card or paying the discounted room rate or can you do both? Doing both seems too good to be true but I figured I'd ask. For example I'm considering going 12/10-12/14. Staying at POR for 2 nights at $105 per night +$50 card then switching to POFQ (or any other Mod) for another 2 nights at $105 with another $50 card. That is $420-$100 gift card =$320 or $80 per night. Using the same strategy at the Values would be $49 per night.

The AP dining card is part of a promotion for specific weeks this fall. If your days fall into those weeks, and you are able to book the AP discount rate, you will get the dining cards. It's not an either/or - you do get a discount rate and the dining card too (so long as it's the right dates).

Also be aware that if you call and ask for the code with the Dining Card, and they say it is not available, to ask for the regular code without the dining card, as that could still be available.

We have a GG in December with 7 rooms, and all have APs. I was able to get all the rooms an AP discount, but only 2 of the rooms the AP discount and the dining card.

We are booked for 11/10 to 11/17 and had to do two reservations to get our discount. We booked one night on 11/10 for one discount and the rest under the dining card discount. We received both the room discount and the $75 dining credit card at the Polynesian Resort.

Good luck and keep trying when you call Disney Reservations.
