AP dining discount ?

I'm going to be going to Saana and Marakesh for lunch next month which both give AP discounts. I have a AP and have never used it for dining discount. Do I tell them at the beginning of the meal or after? What all information will i need to provide?

You will need to present the annual pass (the actual RFID card pass, or the yellow discount card you receive when you get your AP magic band) and a photo ID.
