AP dilemma!

Hi all,
Need help for a friend and I only new of one place to turn.

Friend is buying APs very soon. But his daughter turns 3 at the end of the month. They wanted to buy now because the have a hotel reservation that is close to the 60 day mark, for FP. But not sure what to do given technically his daughter is not old enough to need a ticket.

Buy now and waste time on the AP. (Their first trip isn't planned until the end of the month in which they won't have a hotel room). Or wait to buy until right before they leave and miss their 60 FP window for the second trip in which they will have a hotel.

The big deal here of course is Frozen ride and meet and greet for his daughter. Without 60 day in advance FP I think he might be out of luck.

We bought AP vouchers months in advance of our trip. I was able to link them in MDE and make FP+. They expiration date clock started the day we activated them.

It's not active until they use it. If she's going to be 3 for the trip they need one.

they can buy now and not activate hers until they need it. If they travel between now and the time she turns 3, she doesn't need a ticket so they wouldn't have to activate her pass, they can just activate theirs.
