My dh and I bought Annual Passes last time we went down to WDW. I thought I read on another post that this person wasn't on the DDP because they are AP holders SO my ??? is... If we are DVC members and bought the AP's, does this mean we cannot be on the DDP???

If you are staying at a DVC resort on points you can purchase the DDP regardless of your ticket media.

This is a GREAT "perk" for DVcer's. If we are on a point stay, we do not even have to have a ticket purchase to get the DDP added to our reservation. If you booked through CR with a AP discount on the room, then you do not qualify for the DDP. If you made a reservation through CR, you can purchase a package, add a one day ticket...get the DDP, Still use your AP. (You will pay more for the room) The next time you renew your AP's, apply the one day ticket to your AP renewal. I Have done this. If you are on a point stay, the DDP has to be added before you check in. It is paid for at check in. You cannot add the plan at check in!!!

Hope this wasn't more info than you needed. It just that Disney considers the DDP a discount and they consider the AP rate on the room a discount, they will only give one discount per reservation.

Plus your points stay must be at a DVC resort. You can't get the DDP when you use points at non-DVC Disney resorts like POR, CR, GF, etc.
