OK, I just crawled out for under my "AP" rock and realized that you don't have to be a Florida resident to get one. And I never really have found my way to the "Codes and Rates" sub-forum. 
We're planning a Grand Gathering of 16 in early June, 2009. 2 nights at FW Cabins and remaining 5 at AKV on rented points. Of the 16 of us, only 4 of us might return in 2010.
I have the cabins booked (at the highest room-only 2008 rate) and we will likely do DDP while at AKV the final 5 days.
Questions for the experts: What should I be looking at to possibly save some $$ ? Will any codes or AP rate (other than AAA) likely help me with the cabins (June 5,6)? If an AP rate is offered, can I apply it to my existing ressie and can I book 3 cabins holding just one AP? Might holding one AP get me a discount on DDP for all (while on DVC points)? Thanks!
