Mousesavers just put the code info up for you folks, stating "Discounts are $20 per night off Value resorts, $40 per night off Moderate resorts and $75 per night off Deluxe and DVC resorts."

Not sure but it looks like some of you are doing better than that?

Caribbean Beach October 26 - 30 for a quick MNSSHP trip booked for $129.38 per night, $518.00 total for 4 nights.

The differences is occurring because the discounts are off two different seasons at the same time. It appears to be the same amount of discount, but since the rack rates are so different between value season and regular season it's hard to keep track. People travelling mid-October are seeing a low rate that someone mid December is getting, only to be disappointed when there savings is not that low for them. Remember is you book during value season, your rate will stay at value rate and if you book while still in regular season, your rate again stays the same. Sometimes booking two different reservations will help save money too when you are changing season, from high to low.

That first week of Dec. is the week they film the Christmas thing if im not mistaken. Very busy, and lots of celebrities taking up rooms at the Deluxes. Thats probably why its hard to get AP rates for.

I have to say, I've never found it particularly busy the first few weeks of Dec., but the celebrity thing has me excited! This will be my first stay at a Deluxe during that time... a celeb spotting would be icing on the cake!

I had both good and bad news:
Couldn't get an AP rate on my Poly res for 12/2-12/5.
Did get POR for $99 ($111.38 w/tax) 11/30-12/2.
Also got CSR for $129 11/11.

Can you apply an AP rate online?

Dont kick yourself to much it just popped up on Mousavers. I saw it here first and I checked there and it wasnt there. then a few minutes later I refreshed the screen and it was there.

Question:i Am Considering Changing Our Ressie From 1st Week Of December To The Weekend Before Chrisitmas And Part Of Christmas Week. Is That Smart? Which Time Will Be More Crowded The Parade Filming Weekend Or Christmas Weekend? Would Love Any Advice.

First week seems to be super full - at least at all of the MK resorts considering no availability and no ap rates, but xmas there is avail and ap rates too!

Why do you wnat to change?

I got my rates. I got Boardwalk standard/ regular season for $298/night
WL - $190
POR - $129

These rates included the new tax, so says the person at CRO.

ETA : And I think I'm using some of the savings to go buy myself a new phone that actually hooks into the walll...

If it were me , I'd go in early Dec. if possible. The week between Christmas and New Years is the most crowded time of the year. Plus, everything is decorated all month. I was there a few decembers ago the first weekend and it was really great!

Actually the rates were listed here first. As of 11:00 they were still not posted on mousesavers. I was totally surprised.

The week before Xmas all the way through New Years is the busiest time. I woudn't do it if they GAVE me the room for free. Not worth it for the lines and crowds, IMHO

Interesting! I was on the phone with a great CM. However,the discount isn't too big. The code I was using is FBZ is that correct? I read earlier on this thread that it was SBZ. Did I give them a wrong code?

There was nothing available for week after Thanksgiving at Poly.

AKL for first week in December we saved a total of $12.00 for the week stay. The reason we were told was we were already on a AAA discount. We are staying in a concierge savannah view room. Well, 12.00 is better then nothing.

Has anyone been allowed to book a VISA discount without a Disney Visa? I heard someone was able to get the discount using a regular Visa????

I was on hold for 30 min this morning and had to give up.
At lunch got thru

POP was 79 a night so 5 nights was 444 I got a hold for POP with VISA and a 1 day pass for all for 481 yesterday. I think the VISA was better.

Wanted Poly but no rooms.

We got $59/night at POP on the AP rate. Staying 12/9 - 16. I had a AAA rate, so overall it only saved $20, hey, we're driving, that's gas money.
