Meanwhile, anyone getting an AP rate for the Poly 12/2 - 12/5?

Just booked for POFQ for $129/night. Was going to do CR Tower MK view at $388/night, but couldn't justify the extra cost really. I'm still glad to have the discount!

We have Poly GV Dec 2-10... no AP or AAA discounts. In fact Poly was the only deluxe we could even get! I guess it's quite booked that week.

I was on hold about 20 minutes. I have 2 standard rooms at POR from 10/12-10/17 initially with a AAA rate and now with the AP rate. I'm saving $167.

FYI Pop Century no AP rate for 12/21-12/28. I got AS Music for $66 (tax included).

Hate To Tell You But Just Got Off The Phone With Cs...no Rooms Avail 11-30 To 12-6 For The Ploy, Cr, Wl, Porrs, Porfq,...all They Have Is Akl Standard $134 Or Savanna For $214 Or Coronado Springs At $99. She Also Mentioned Ssr But I Was Not Interested So Did Not Get The $$. She Said That Week Is Extremely Busy And The Deluxe Resorts Are Full! I Am A Little Leary Of That...i Think They Just Do Not Want To Give Too May Rooms Out At The Passholder Rate. I Should Have Asked If There Was Availablity With Not Rate? Hope This Helps!!

I was able to save even more over our AAA rate for our December trip and its nice not to have to stress anymore about when the AP rates are coming out.

I just got off the phone with a very kind CM, but for our dates at the GF, the AP rate was almost $300 (total) than my AAA rate. But, I have a Honeymoon Suite, so maybe that was it....

I stuck with my AAA rate...

Apparently there isn't much room at any of the deluxes during the 1st week of Dec, even at rack rate, according to the CM I spoke with on Monday and again this morning.

If only I had known *everyone* would want to come to Disney that week!

They had CR Garden wings 12/9-12/15 for $219 plus tax. I am keeping my Visa package since we won't be goint back for a couple of years, it doesn't make sence to get an AP just for this trip. The CM said there were no Tower rooms for that week available with an AP.

rebooked, WDW must think I've lost my mind LOL,

cancelled pkg & booked CR Tower MK view for

$388 night, including tax...

about $110 savings per night...

now, if only my ressies don't cancel each other out of system while the dust settles...something else to worry about.

guess I just need to keep checking.

actually I have been trying to get a room (rack rate) at the GF, Poly, WL or CR for 12/7-12/9 and nothing has been available except suites at CR...a GV at the Poly opened up and I snagged it. (no Ap rate though!)

It's a lot of pages, so maybe I missed it, has anyone gotten a mod regular season rate yet? Or if anyone has heard of room availability from 11/3-11/11 (or nearby) in the mods or AKL? I'm waiting on GP and am just trying to give the family an idea if we might be switching hotels with a lot of pixie dust.

also, yesterday I talked to a very kind CM who was able to give some oblique info on new codes (his words, "you'll know before 8/17 what the codes are" so he might even have been referring to this one!). If anyone gets a super-kind CM and you are on hold reading this now, could someone ask if - with the understanding that they cannot give a straight yes or no answer - if there is the possibility of more codes opening in the next day or so? I'd call myself but I'd rather leave the phone line open for someone who might be booking.

That first week of Dec. is the week they film the Christmas thing if im not mistaken. Very busy, and lots of celebrities taking up rooms at the Deluxes. Thats probably why its hard to get AP rates for.

WELL MADE OUR RESSIES FOR THE AKL FOR 11-30 TO 12-6. NOT WHAT I ORIGINALLY WANTED BUT BETTER THAN NOTHING! I WILL KEEP TRYING AND HOPE TO SNAG A ROOM AT THE WL, CR, OR POLY FOR THOSE SAME DATES. I am surprised though, we've gone the first week for about the past four years and I have never had a problem booking a deluxe room with an AP rate after the rates were released. At this point I am just glad we have a room!!
