AP centre at DL and AP Question

Hello Everyone!

Hope all is well. We are FINALLY going back to DL. Can't believe its been 3 years. We did 2 years of cruising and waited for Cars Land, Mermaid, Star Tours etc. Now the time has come.

Planning a trip Jan. 2013 and will be buying the 5 day hopper pass. Because we will be going back in Sept. 2013 (cruise down then spend days at the park!) we want to buy AP (and maybe go back before it runs out! WOOOO!)

1 - so during my visit, i want to convert to AP. Do i pay the full price of the AP OR will it take into account the money spent on the 5 day hopper? I'm hoping its the latter

2 - so many changes now can someone tell me where the AP centre even is?

There is no AP processing center. You go to the ticket booths to do the exchange. And yes you will get credit for the price you paid for the 5-day hopper ticket.

Yes, you just pay the difference between the AP price and the price you paid for the hopper. But be aware, the AP is backdated to the first day that you used the hopper (that's only fair).

And yes, you do the upgrade at the ticket booth. Then you're asked to find a PhotoPass photographer to take your picture for the AP. Note that the picture doesn't actually appear on the AP, but it's electronically linked to it, so your picture appears on the CM's screen when you use the AP to enter the park.
