Ap buying question...

Are AP's the same price if you buy them in advance by calling Disney or waiting to buy them from the park ticket booth at WDW???

I live in Canada and I was going to order them from the Disney Store here but now that the exchange has gotten a bit better, I could save $40 Canadian by ordering from Disney but I am worried about customs... SO then I thought of sending them to the will call window...

But if the price is the same for advance purchase or purchase at the gate, I could just wait to buy them when I get there...

Any thoughts???

I don't think there is a difference but I really don't know. I think you shoud just buy them up there. Customs isn't a big deal is it? I've gone to Toronto many times and haven't had an issue.

When I mean customs I mean customs on mail sent to Canada.

My husband ordered 2 action figures from the US at $14.99 each and we had to pay over $20 in customs and brokers fees...Not fun.

There is no advance purchase price break on APs; they are same no matter where you get them. (The only discounted APs are for Florida residents and active military/Shades of Green).

The caveat to that is if you expect a price increase before your trip, buying the vouchers beforehand will save some money. Do you have a friend/relation/co-worker in the US that you could have the vouchers sent to & have them forward them to you as regular post?
