Recently purchased my AP (got in before the price increase!) and planned a trip with a friend for the end of the month. She has park hopper tickets that are attached in my account and she is on my Fastpass selections. With this new Bring A Friend offer, it would be much cheaper for her to buy at the gate each day. Can we do this and not lose her as a guest on my Fastpass? As for the existing park hoppers, can I leave them in my account for a future trip and just reassign them to someone else? Help!

I tried doing this but I was afraid it would pick up my PH tickets
I added the flexible date option on my tickets but I am not sure that was the best way to go... because now I am stuck with this and can’t upgrade unless I call Disney which I hate doing... but it worked!

You can leave the park hopper tickets on your account. I don't know how the fast pass would transfer to a one day ticket. I can suggest you stop at Guest Relations before entering the park to make sure you ask about prioritizing the tickets. You want the friend to use the one day tickets first. It must be done Before entering park!!

Yes. Each day that you purchase the “friend” ticket, have the CM set the priority for it to be used for entrance that day.

Don’t Reassign the multi day park hopper because you need it left on the Profile to keep the FPs intact and ready to use as soon as the friend ticket is linked and used for park entrance.

Great! This is what I was hoping for. So once the friend ticket is linked with the single day as priority, I don’t need to modify the FP?
Also the parkhoppers are for specific dates, do I just let them expire?

When you get to Guest Relations they will answer your questions. Last year, they supplied us with a "magical code" and my daughter was able to use that and the value of the ticket was applied to her annual pass renewal. The magic code expired a few days before her annual pass expired. If you let them expire and they haven't been used, they will retain their money value to purchase another ticket either park hopper or annual pass. You will have to pay price difference. And you will not be able to downgrade to just park passes.

The OP is not questioning codes for an AP.

Specifically purchasing the “AP Friend Ticket” which is a 1-day ticket that is used the day it’s purchased.
