AP booking question

We have 2 AP cards. We booked our room in July at WL in my name. My sister-in-law wants to tag along in July but doesn't want to stay at WL with us to save some cash. Can I book her somewhere else with my name or my wife's AP card? or do one of us need to be there for check-in. The cast member told me she had to stay at the same place as us.

So can I use my card to book her at POFQ but just put it under her name and my brother-in-law's?
