AP Blockout ticket - hopper or not?

I have to buy an AP blockout ticket for one day during my upcoming trip (i have a deluxe ap) - I know its 40.00 but it is a hopper or only one park ticket?

The Annual Passport Blockout Ticket is a 1-Day ParkHopper/I] Ticket.

Please remember that the Annual Passholder must present their Blackout Day Ticket and their Annual Passport BOTH to be admitted into the Theme Parks.

Thanks for information. I am trying to decide the best use of $$$ as my birthday happens to fall on the blockout day during our trip. I could just use the free entry and upgrade to a hopper ticket, or buy the blockout day pass for 40.00 which gives me the hopper ticket and then get the free gift card which equates to about 20.00 free dollars overall....decisions decisions....
