AP block out dates for November

Just checked the schedule and was shocked to see the only block out dates for November were Nov 24/25/26, am I reading this right, if so this is great for us as we leave on the 23rd If we have the deluxe passes and decide to come back in July and don't like the block out dates can we then upgrade to the premium pass that has no block out dates? Thanks again.

Yes, I beleive it is right, when they increased the prices, they decreased and modified the Blackout Dates (Deluxe passes only though)

If the deluxe only has a few block out dates and the premium has none does the california have more is that what you mean (we are not from California so we wouldn't be entitled to that anyway). Would I still be able to upgrade to a premium in July if I wanted?

You can upgrade from one type of AP to another at anytime. I've done it. They do check address and they make sure that So.Calif AP's go to residents only. If you are going during Thanksgiving, which is a blackout time, why not get 3 day parkhoppers and then upgrade on your last day there? They will apply the entire purchase price of your parkhoppers to your AP, and you will have gotten to enjoy the park during a 'blackout' time.
