AP blackout date question

DH and I bought the family Sorcerer Passes recently The parks are blacked out the last two weeks in December. Do the blackout dates apply to mini-golf, golf, and water parks?

Did you buy the Water Park and Sports option?

It says you are not blocked out from the water parks.
It says one round prior to 4:00 PM at minigolf.

I have the Pirate pass that is blocked out this entire week and was able to use it yesterday for mini golf.

From the Disney World website regarding Water Park add on ..

For the duration of your Annual Pass, adding the Water Park and Sports Option includes Passholder admission to select Walt Disney World experiences (with no blockout dates).

If you bought the water park pass, there are no block out dates on waterparks and golf. We have the Pirate Pass and have been to Blizzard Beach on a park block out date.

We bought and have yet to use the PixiePass but called and were assured the blackout dates didn't apply to the sports option

Dumb question, for a variety of reasons, it would be more convenient if we activated our annual passes first at one of the sports options and the next day start park visiting. Will this be a problem?
