Hi! Is there really free valet parking at a disney hotel with an AP membership? I'm confused...if you are a disney hotel guest you can get valet parking FREE? It seems to be listed under DDE membership. Any help appreciated!

I don't think so. I believe that it's free if you drive your vehicle to the hotel to dine, not free for your stay. I paid something like $7 a day at the GF last month for valet.

You get free valet with DDE by showing your dining receipt when you get your car.

You don't get free valet as a Disney Hotel Guest. DVC Members get free valet at the connected DVC resorts only - BW, WL, BC. If you have a handicapped permit you get free valet anywhere it's available.

I am going in July on AP discount for the first time. I want to purchase the DDE but I don't want it to start until July. If I buy it now, May 8, can I request that it not start until July? We go to WDW in July so I am hoping to use it again next year. If I buy it in May, will it only be good until the end of June?

It goes into effect a year from when you order it. They may give you some time extra at the end depending on how long it takes to get to you. For example, I ordered mine 2/17, received it 4/15 and it is valid until 5/30/06.

I think I will wait until June 1 to order the DDE. That gives me 5 weeks to get the letter and hopefully it will bew valid until 7/30/06.
Wish me luck! I think the DDE will be great for my family. I considered a myw package with dining but I think it would be too restrictive for us.

I, agree, as I personally like the freedom the DDE gives as compared to the MYW plan.
