AP Bag Check with Non-AP Holders

I am an AP holder, but the rest of my traveling party is not. If an AP bag check line is available, am I able to take my party with me through that line? Or does everyone going through the line need to hold an AP?

To my knowledge, there is not a separate bag check line for AP holders. There is -usually- a separate turnstile for AP holders to enter the park. That is supposed to be for AP holders only and they will often ask any non-AP guests to go to a different line.

There’s an AP entrance at the entrance touchpoints but there’s not a dedicated AP bag check line. Showing ID to get into a bag check line would slow the process down even further than it is now.

Ditto what PP's said. In terms of the AP tapstile, it is at the CM's discretion as to non-AP's can go through with AP holders. My DS is an AP holder, I am not. On our last trip in August they let us both through the AP tapstile, but there was zero line to enter and didn't cause any delays for other AP holders. We are going back in December and I will only go through, while accompanied by DS, with a CM's approval.

I remember there was an AP bag check line at AK ( or another none magic kingdom park ) I never used it as the other bag checks where not longlines and you had to go somewhat out of your way to get to the bag check line ( not sure how long this was opened ) but last time I was there I did not see it.

as far as the AP line to get in I was told and did this a few times that you can bring in 2 none with you and the AP hold must go first and tell the CM that the two none AP are with you and you can only do 2 people.

I think I did once thinking about it more and the CM there said they were testing it.I guess it turned out not to work really was not much faster either.

I think it was there during Pandora previews. They knew they'd have a lot of APs going in for those special events, so decided to have a special bag check line.
