AP at MCO Earport ??

I am buying an AP primarily to get the resort discounts. I have heard that you can buy an activated AP at the Earport shop in the MCO airport.

My thought was to just buy one there when I land (on a Saturday about noon). This allows me to kill time while I wait for our luggage, delays having to front the $$ until the last minute and I do not have to deal with the hassle of getting it validated at the parks.

Any flaws in my plan (i.e. Earport not open on weekends) ?

Does the airport close on weekends? LOL! Neither do the shops at the airport. Just be sure you get there before 11:00 pm.

No you can't. They only sell the activated passes. They are not run by Guest Relations so you can't exchange vouchers there.

There are two Disney's Earport shops at MCO. One is on the 3rd floor main terminal "A" side and the other is on the 3rd floor main terminal "B" side. Just look at the shops as you get off the shuttle from the airside gates. You can't miss them.

As to how much time, it takes about 5 minutes per pass when you hit it just right (no one ahead of you to get tickets, the right CM being there at that moment, being waited on right away, computer working correctly, etc).

We bought AP's there a couple of years ago and we got voucher's which we activated at the park. They may be doing it differently now. I would suggest calling the store and asking so you will have a definite answer.

It had to more than a "couple of years ago" as they've been tied into the ATS computer system doing activated AP/PAP's for nearly four years now.

Yes until December 31st you can.
