AP at AKL? buy AP out-of-state?

hi.

we're trying to figure out what the easiest way to buy our AP would be (we're using the AP for a discount).....

we are checking in to the AKL on a sunday afternoon. we were wondering if we can buy an AP somewhere in the AKL prior to check-in, or do we have to go to downtown disney (or elsewhere)sometime on sunday before we check in?

we're here in Indiana. is there someplace here where i might purchase an AP? i've called the local AAA, and they don't sell them and our disney store doesn't, either.

Do you have any Disney Stores near you? They sell AP's. Are you flying in? You can buy an AP at Orlando Airport. You can order an AP online at disneyworld.com. There's a Disney Info Center in Ocala, FL (Exit 350 on I-75) that sells an activated AP (the others are vouchers that need to be activated at the Parks).

If you get to the hotel with an AP voucher, you should be able to check in with the AP rate, but you'll need to stop by the front desk after you've "activated" the AP.

My Disney store was able to order the vouchers for me. Maybe your store could do that too?

We just bought our AP's at our local disney store this weekend - woohoo!

Anyhow, be sure to ask for a supervisor at the disney store - the other girls had no clue and were looking up ticket info. (about DisneyLAND!? and WDW park hopper pass, etc. - everything BUT WDW AP's)

One girl took us over to the big cardboard "castle" kiosk that basically just advertises the types of tickets available - and no, the WDW AP's are not listed on the kiosk. Then when I told her that, she went to the check out counter and pulled out a huge three ring binder and started going through it - I kept telling her the vouchers are kept under the register in a locked drawer. She didn't listen.

We left and went back another day and specifically asked for the supervisor. No problems then.
