AP and MYW Packages

Hello... but yet another silly question from me....

I am now considering buying an annual pass for myself and my son because of the amount of trips I have planned this year and it will pay for itself. We are going at the end of Sept. and was told by a cm that I could upgrade when I get there (we are doing the free dining) and could put the amount of $ that I am paying for my tickets towards the annual passes (on the day of arrival). I also have a MYW package with the discount for Dec. (so I can get the dining plan and etc.) and was wanting to just buy a 1 day pass for my son and I and save them for our trip next year when our annual passes expire. With that being said, the 1 day doesn't expire right? As long as it's the person using the pass next year that it was entitled to?

Okay... another additional question... If I was to get the AP, would it just be easier and/or cheaper to book a room with that discount and pay OOP for my dining? Probably eating 1 TS and CS a day... I am booked at the WL in Dec. in a STD. room and was told I couldn't get an AP discount with that room because that category is sold out for my dates already... (guess I would have to switch resorts?).

To make a long story short: Yes, you can save your 1days (which you purchased in order to be eligible to buy the DDP) any time, there are no expiration dates on one day passes. Only multiple day passes have an expiration date once you've used the first day (unless you buy the no-exp option). You could also use that one day pass as credit towards your AP renewal if you decide to renew it next year. Either way, it won't go to waste.

Re: AP room discounts: they are not offered all year long, and a limited number of rooms are available, so you can't always count on that.
