AP and FP+ question.

Ok, so here is my situation. I have a six day trip planned for Feb. I currently have an AP that is due to expire part way through the trip. I am planning to do an AP renewal. It is a DVC AP, although I'm not sure it matters in this case.

When I log in to MDE to do a renewal I get an error message saying that my AP is not available for renewal until 60 days before expiration.

My question is regarding my FP+ window. I am guessing that the system is smart enough to know that my AP is expiring and will not let me use it to make FP beyond that day. Does anyone know that for sure?

I think that I can call and order an AP voucher before my 60 day mark. Is that correct? If so, will I be able to use that to make FP for the second half of my trip?

Thanks Robo. May I ask why you think purchasing the voucher early is unnecessary? Are you saying I should just do it online at day 60?

I will be making FP selections for my group of 5. Everyone else will have regular tickets for this trip.

The good news is that A&E are not on our to do list.
