AP and DDP

I plan on upgrading my current ticket to an AP. I have heard that they are now offering the DDP to AP holders. Can anyone tell me how this would work if only one person in the room holds an AP.

It would be in January. I would be traveling with my adult daughter. She would have purchase Park hoppers while I used my AP. We'd like to utilize the DDP is that ok as long as the DDP matches the # of nights we stay?

We went in Dec with AP, stayed at the Boardwalk and added DDP for ourselves and DS and his wife. Worked great, we have AP and they bought tickets. Only one AP needed, book the room with it and add the ddp for everyone booked in the room.

Great! I am so excited. I was hoping the AP would save me a bit of money but I did not want to sacrifice the DDP for it.
