AP activation question

I purchased an AP online and I'm wondering if I can activate it at one of the waterparks or do I have to go to one of the theme parks to do so? We are planning to drive straight to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon before checking into POP. I don't think we want to go to the theme parks our first day and we have the POP reserved with an AP rate.

You can activate it at a WP.

If you're worried about showing your AP at Pop, have you linked your voucher to your reservation? Also they will accept the voucher as proof too. It has your name on it.
