Not sure where to post this...mods please move if needed...just leave me some bread crumbs.

If you book room only with AAA discount AND have an AP, can you get the DP? I know you can do DP now with AP, but I don't know about the third factor. Planning a June 2009 trip and would like to avoid booking package through AAA if possible.

Room Only, is that, room only.
Recently AAA has WDTC packages to sell geared specifically for WDW AP-ers. No tickets are necessary for purchase. Those packages can include no DDP, DDP, Dlx DDP, Dlx DDP w/wine, and etc.
But they are packages, not room only with dining added.
I think what you are wanting though is a room only with a AAA discount. Unless things change (which they always can) you can book room only and get the AAA discount when booking with Disney. But no DDP. That is part of a WDTC package, and that means you would go through AAA to get the AAA discount on a package.
