I like this perk.....how often are you not able to get tickets the day of event?
How many dates last year did it sell out?

I agree with Debbie on that one. Fridays and the 31st always sell out. I too think it's great they are once again offering AP holders this discount.

That's great news but isn't there a catch like you have to wait to buy them in person in Florida or something? Or can you use the discount over the phone? If you have to buy them down there for the discount, can you still get the non-gate price? I prefer buying my tickets when they first go on sale.

The actual AP wording is there is a 25% discount for the "day of sale of the ticket". That means you are saving 25% off of the highest price, not the advance price.

There was no AP discount on them last year. There was a two tier pricing schedule. Adults paid $31.95 +tx in advance or $34.95 +tx at the gate.

The potential savings for an AP holder this year buying on the day of the event (assuming that the prices remain the same) would be 25% off the gate price which comes out to $26.21 + tx.

We always go on Tuesday night, it's never soldout so I'll just wait. I don't like to buy them far in advance in case we have to cancel.
