AP, 2 Rooms, charge to different CC's?

Hi --

I'm taking my parents to WDW next August along w/my 15 y.o. son. I'm will be buying an AP and keeping my fingers crossed for good rates for our POR rooms. However, while I AM springing for my parents' room, park tix and airfare, I'd prefer NOT to spring for their souvies & other stuff that usually gets charged to the room.

When we're checking in, can I have our two rooms on separate credit cards for room charges? Our rooms will be paid by the time we get there and I usually put some $$$ in our "room bank" as well as give the credit card info.

It all depends on who is working when you check in.

I have NEVER been able to split charges on separate credit cards at check in. I have tried each time we have had multiple rooms.

However, it is easy to split the charges at checkout. Each resort key has a unique number. Just get a printout the night before you check out. Add up the charges on each resort key and then go to the desk and have them charge each credit card with the appropriate amount.

Like Carol said, it all depends on who you get. Last time I went, I used my AP discount on my sisters room and they let her pay for her room on the CC and put down her CC for the charges back to room while I paid for mine.

It does seem that sometimes the CMs are trained differently.

kylara is correct. It depends on the CM. We have gotten CM's that are very helpful and accomodating and we have gotten real stinkers!

when we stayed at POR we gave them two seperate cc at check-in and still it all ended up on mine.

We got it all resolved, but only after several phone calls.

so not sure even if they say they will do it will it end up right.

p.s. our "paper" at check out said it was right, but when we
recieved our Amex bill it was all on ours. so be sure to watch for it.
