@Leahmeicher what are you plans for the rest of the day? If you're spending the day at Epcot or DHS I don't think I'd drive since you may need to relocate your car.

@Leahmeicher I'd drive if I had the day off. After breakfast you might want to check out Boardwalk. But I do agree with @verleniahall that it's a very early breakfast for a day off. But our family was never rope droppers so that time of day is our sleep in period

Car! Since its a non-park day, walk around a bit and see some of the Boardwalk before you leave the area. It's nice to head over to Disney Springs in the morning, too, especially when you have a car. Parking is easy and the place is quiet in the morning - so its nice to just wander and shop without the crowds. Skip a real lunch - and a 4pm HDDR sounds great to me!

I vote for using transportation, just learn from my mistakes because someone told me to go to Epcot...that was not the way to go.

1. Take the bus from AoA to HWS. It's opening at 6am, busses will already be running. (Or Skyliner if it's open and would be the quickest way)
2. From HWS, you can walk to Boardwalk. (Roughly distance of walking from AoA lobby to Pop lobby) You can also take the boat, but it'll add 15-20 minutes to the transportation.

Otherwise, you can take a Lyft as well. But if you drive, the parking lot for Boardwalk is a bit of a walk and about half the distance of the walk from HWS to Boardwalk.
