AOA question

We are going for our first family trip in December. We are planning on staying in the little mermaid room. How hard would it be to upgrade to a suite when we get there? Right now we can not afford the upgrade but we might be able to save up enough money for it between now and then.

I would think that it depends on how late in Dec. you are going. The closer to Christmas, the more the resorts fill up. I definitely wouldn't leave it for the last minute. If you can find you can afford it even just a few weeks before your departure, then I'd change the reservations then, to avoid a last minute disappointment.
