AOA or CBR?

We're planning our trip for next year with our two kids, 2.5 and 5. We've narrowed it down to AOA (LM room, as a family suite is not in our budget), or CBR. We're leaning towards CBR because we've already been to AOA and want to try something new (we did love AOA). I'm wondering if CBR has enough to keep the little ones interested? We do spend quite a bit of time at the resort.

CBR in a preferred room would be my choice. The pool area at CBR is fantastic for kids--great splash area but the resort is pretty big. If you stay in a preferred room is will be real close to the main pool. I know the LM rooms at AOA are a bit of a walk from the Nemo Pool and main areas so you might actually be okay staying in a non-preferred room too if you don't mind the walking. I really, really enjoyed my stay at CBR and really only stayed there because it was the only thing available and now I recommend it to everyone!

Definitely CBR. I have stayed at both and liked both. There are amenities going from value to moderate that are worth the price bump, IMO. The beds and rooms are bigger, the towels are better, the atmosphere is more subdued. The grounds at CBR are really beautiful. I thought both places were excellent to run/walk in, but CBR really is a nicer resort. Transportation was a draw in my opinion. You got on the bus faster at CBR, but then you tooled around the resort to make other stops. I thought getting out of the parks at close was better at CBR, but that may have been luck of the draw. I also think CBR is more centrally located to all parks than AoA was.

We've never stayed at AoA, but we loved everything about CBR. I think CBR is a great resort as the grounds are beautiful, the food court is great, and the main pool has a fun pirate theme that I think your little ones would love. Also, each "village" has its own quiet pool, which is sometimes nice for some quiet down time if you didn't want the hustle and bustle of the main pool.
