AOA or AKL

I am really torn here. I am booked for late Aug at AOA LM rooms but am strongly considering upgrading to AKL pool view.

We have never stayed at a deluxe and have wanted to go and experience it BUT, I am really excited to also experience AOA.

Any suggestions on what I should do? We like to spend a lot of time at the pool and relax as well as the parks so the pool and ambience is really important to us.... Don't care about actual room so much.... We don't need a suite.

Traveling with DH, DD 10 and DS 8.

Unless you have a Little Mermaid daughter, Id have already switched.

We are here right now in a Finding Nemo Suite at AoA. We just switched over here for the last 8 nights of our trip, the previous 4 nights were at Animal Kingdom Lodge (free upgrade to Savannah View!). There's nothing I dislike about AoA, but the ambience and atmosphere of the AKL was fabulous. We all (including my 5 & 3 1/2 yr old boys) have commented that the AoA is fun for now and we'll enjoy it, but we won't book here again most likely. I'd say switch for sure, especially since you don't need a suite.

Without a doubt - switch to AKL.
