AoA allow guests?

Does anyone know if we can have guests come and swim with us at Art of Animation for one evening?

As far as I have ever been informed -- pools are intended for use by resort guests only -- every resort has the same rule.

On these boards - pool use is right up there on the "debate meter" with mug use.

I would skip the resort pool & head to a water park to be with friends.

Sorry, swimming is for registered guests (at their own hotel/resort) or folks authorized for pool hopping only.

Not unless you can add them to your room for that night. You could do that, if it doesn't put you over the room occupancy limit, and if you are willing to pay the additional adult room fee.

Also, you can ask the lifeguard on duty at the time you want to swim and they may allow you to have a guest. But being that AoA is hugely popular, that it may not be allowed.

I noticed that pool hopping is a hot topic. We do not want controversy at the pool! From what I understand, anyone can visit, it's the swimming that's the issue. I would just tell them they can't swim, but maybe we'll do Downtown Disney instead.

With the thousands of guests at the resort I have a hard time imagining that anyone would notice or care that you had a couple of "extra" people at the pool.

Provided of course that the extra people don't do things that would draw undo attention to themselves.

If every guest at the resort thought like that, the pools would be overrun with people.

If you are a guest of a guest, you are not a guest of the resort. Swim at your own resort or at a water park.
