I have to admit that I am very proud of myself for going ahead with my solo trip. I found it very easy travel wise. I would highly recommend Coach USA to anyone who doesnt want to drive/cant drive. $40 round trip was worth it and they drop you right outside your hotel, so no additional traveling required.
For anyone contemplating a solo trip, Id say go for it. The freedom of doing whatever you want when you want, eating when you want and going on whatever rides you want and not having to wait for someone else, or even consider anyone else, well its wonderful. I had a really great time and enjoyed every minute of it. Hubby and I spoke on the phone about 2-3 times a day so I didnt miss him as much as I wouldve done otherwise, although I obviously did miss him very much but you know what Im getting at. I would definitely recommend going solo if you get the chance, its a very different way to see the World.
Im not 100% sure if I would do it again but the only reason is because of how much I missed hubby and the dogs. I spent a little more than I expected but I didnt want for anything. Overall, including coach transfers, food, e-ride tickets, souvenirs, drinks, mousekeeping etc, I spent around $700. It was worth every dollar I spent. The whole trip was a high point, although my favourite parts were my first Spectromagic and Fantasmic, Illuminations and Off Kilter, oh and my first E-Ride night. They are well worth doing. The only low point was my camera resetting itself and losing all those wonderful photos I had. So will I go again? Who knows, maybe one day I will
Thanks for reading my report I hope youve enjoyed reading it.
