We will be arriving at MCO around 11:00 am on Thanksgiving. We will then rent a car for a 2 1/2 day stay in Ft. Myers. Will there be any quick food places open to eat? We just want a quick sandwich as we will be eating turkey and the works at 5:00. All the fast-food places in our area are advertising that they will close at 11:00am. Thanks! Happy Turkey Day!!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc I couldn't make up my mind!)

Eat at MCO before leaving the airport. It will cost a little more, but you won't be driving all over creation looking for an open restaurant.

IME, the only places that are reliably open on major holidays are breakfast joints, particularly Waffle House. Airports have food every day of the year, so take advantage of it.

The airport is indeed a good idea. They have a decent food court in the terminal with a lot of selections.

There will also be a lot of restaurants open along International Drive.

The service plazas on the Turnpike will also be open, although your routing to Fort Myers probably would not involve the Turnpike.
