Anywhere But Here: The Game!

Here's how you play (it's so simple)...if you could be anywhere in "the World" right now, instead of where you are, where would you be? Of the course, the trick is you can't play hypothetically (you can't be at Typhoon Lagoon at 2am on Humunga Kawabunga). It has to be something you could be legitimatally doing instead.

Right now it's 10:08am on Friday (St. Patrick's Day) and If I could be anywhere but here, I would in the hub, in front of the castle, sitting in the shade on a bench, people watching and eating a cinnamon roll from the Mainstreet Bakery. Listening to the birds chirp and the sounds of the background music, the distant railroad, and trying to decide of we go on Space Mountain or Splash Mountain first.

On St Patty's day? I'd be at Epoct anxiously awaiting the rope drop for World Showcase at 11:00 and running to the R&C for a half-and half to celebrate the day!

Since I am not one of those crack of dawn, arrive at the park first thing type of person. I would have just now probably arrived at MK and would be walking down Main Street on my way to IASM. (I'm hoping there's not much of a line!)

Agree with waiting for the World Showcase rope to drop and heading to R&C to celebrate the day - may end up spending a good part of the day there though. It being 10:18 right now, since I have time, I'd have to go take a spin on Test Track first.

I would be using my 2nd fastpass on the RnRC...especially because the Aerosmith concert my son and I were supposed to be at this past WEdnesday was cancelled

Instead of my lunchtime here at work, I am at the MK, at the Main Street
ice cream place. I am sitting outside at the tables, and it is not crowded.
I am in a very relaxed mood, enjoying my ice cream, people watching, and I am about to decide what direction I want to go next.

I actually have the day off from work, so that's pretty sweet. But, instead of at home, I'd much rather be sitting on the balcony outside the cafe of the Virgin Megastore. An iced coffe, piece of cheesecake, and my honey. That would be perfect.

ANYWHERE but here---then, at 1:57 P.M. on Friday, I would love to be on Space Mountain or Splash Mountain--it's soooo hard to choose! Really, it wouldn't matter where in Disney I was, as long as I was in Disney!!!

At 2:02 I would be at Epcot, in line for SE standing right in front of that large mural of the space station taking in the smell flowing from the loading area of SE.

Walking up mainstreet with my four year old on my shoulders towards the castle holding hands with the best and prettiest wife a man could have, 12 year old daughter on the other side holding hands with Dad in front of all those people, (Ok it's a fantasy that would never happen) 7 year old son in front of us anxiously leading the way to new adventures knowing full well it is the first morning of a seven (7) day vacation. One of the best feelings in the World.

Anywhere but here at 4 p.m., I know I'm supposed to say I would want to be at Disney but since were will be there tommorow, if I could be anywhere right now I'd be in Big Sky or Jackson Hole skiing. I hear they are getting dumped on. Lucky ducks!

If we are talking about "the World" the way I am assuming you are, I would say I wouldl like to be at our hotel relaxing with my hubby.

If I could be anywhere but here, I'd be back home in Ocean Springs Mississippi, in my real house with the kids playing in the backyard while I sit in the yard swing watching and enjoying the weather.

At 5 :30 we would be headed for dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern, with the smell of home cooked food, all the families eating nicely , and my two jumping up and down like they hit lotto every time a character walks out Anyone having dinner there easter Sunday, my table will be the noisy one

If I could be anywhere but here, instead of getting dinner ready and soon driving my DS to work at AMC, I'd be at Downtown Disney sitting down to dinner, maybe at House of Blues, then going over to Cirque de Soleil - my kids would love that!
