In a public school?? Where?? I could see a song like that being played at the rural SW Missouri school I taught first grade in with no problem, but I know of many schools that it wouldn't fly. Also maybe the lyrics are a bit much for that age group (I see it more for middle or high school), but I see where your mind as a teacher is at. Check with your administration.
