I found out I was pregnant after I booked my universal vacation. When we go in Nov. I will be around 4 months. Is there anything I will be able to do? I was so looking forward to the rides but it looks like they are out of the question. Any advice or info would be great.

Congratulations! Here is some info that may be of help! hope you enjoy your trip! :)
Islands of Adventure:

Due to the nature of the attractions, expectant mothers are requested to avoid riding The Incredible Hulk Coaster, Spider-Man, Doctor Doom's Fearfall, Dueling Dragons, Jurassic Park River Adventure, Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls, Cat In The Hat™, Storm Force Accelatron®, Flying UnicornSM or Popeye and Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges®. We have provided comfortable areas where you may wait for your party.

Universal Studios:

Due to the nature of the attractions, expectant mothers are requested to avoid riding Back To the Future The Ride®, Earthquake® – The Big One, Jaws® and use the stationary seating in Terminator 2:3-D Battle Across Time™

I think you could ride Cat in the Hat if they turn the spin off for you.

There was an older thread about expectant mothers and Jaws. The general consensus agreed that Jaws is safe for expectant mothers.

Expectant mothers can go on anything they want, even the rides listed above. However, Universal cannot be held responsible if anything happens to the unborn child due to experiencing the attraction(s) listed above.

Shrek and Jimmy Neutron also have stationary seating, and Twister has a stationary area. Cat in the Hat can be experienced with spin turned off. Simply request it at the loading area and they will do so.

Where's MsDisney? She has very good information about the whole deal.

You can do more at Universal than IOA, but I would check it out anyway. There are some things you would be able to do at IOA.

My wife was 7/9 months pregnant (she's due next week) when we went to US last month so I should be able to give you a few tips.

Almost all of the rides have warning. Obviously some warnings are to be heeded (ie, rollercoasters) some are just there to protect US from frivolous lawsuits. Anyway this is a list of what she went on:

* - Shrek - no problem - they have a big warning out front but she was fine on it.
* Jimmy Neuton - don't go on it if your getting big. Ironically, there were no warning signs posted (that we saw anyway) on this one but this was the only ride my wife had problems on. The problem is the lap bar was too tight and can't be adjusted. She was very unconforatable the whole ride.
* - MIB - no problem

Other advice:
* Jaws - no problem
* Back to the Future - we avoided this one.

Of course, you can see all the shows with no problem.

Enjoy,
Bryan
