Anything special to do or see on New Year's Eve at DW?

We are planning our next trip for the week of New years this time and was wondering if there is anything special going on as far as NY Eve celebrations? Pleasure Island is out because we will have the kiddos. Hopefully they have something for the whole family.

Also, how crowded is it then and how is the weather? Thanks so much for your help!

Hi,

All the parks have extended hours and special fireworks shows. As for crowds, well, you probably have never seen crowds as large as you will see on NYE at Disney World! The MK will often close for a while because it is at capacity. You will literally be shoulder to shoulder with thousands of new friends!

As for the weather, winter in Orlando is completely unpredictable. You could have warm afternoons and cool mornings, or you could have mornings near freezing with highs in the 40s.
