Just wondering since we will be visiting as newbies over Easter weekend.

Oh I wish, I wish. No, I asked the same question when I first got on this board. There is Ridemax for DL and then most of the WDW sites have sections for DL now (including this one). There are a few DL exclusive ones as well.

For detailed touring info on Disneyland I like the online program Ridemax.com or the Passporter Guide to Disneyland. And of course this board! No Tourguide Mike however, but then due to the size of the parks, the fact they are right next door to each other and the more limited choices on dining, recreation and resorts, you don't really need a tourguide mike for Disneyland. You only need about one fourth the planning to have just as much fun at Disneyland which is just one of the many things I love about it!

Just us...:yay: :scared1:

Hey!!! At least we're free...or cheap...or available...:dance3: You know what I mean!!!!!

RIdemax allows you to customize the days at the park (what rides you intend to ride, time of arrival to the park as well as expected departure of the park. You can even program in your breaks during the day) and you can keep making changes. It has alot of updates to the system and I thought the hints and tips were very useful. I had a 90 day subscription so I timed it to end just after our trip was over.

Did you think Ridemax was worth the money? Tour Guide Mike was soo worth it. I made good friends there that I meet up with. Now, those friends are priceless.

To me it was worth the money. Given what I spend total going to Disneyland, it was a drop in the bucket. Its basically sort of a spreadsheet type thing. You print it out and you can always have several different plans for each day. I only got it once but much of the advice and tricks I learned on it, I still use to this day. Of course a lot of that advice you can get right here on the dis. But I do like the fact that he spends a great deal of time updating his information and that you can print out a schedule that includes breaks and even figures in how fast you want to tour, if you want to park hop and how many times you want to do each ride. Its very detailed. And its fun to play around with! But you won't meet anyone since its not a discussion type forum like what TGM has.

is ridemax at ridemax.com?

Yes, and it's a downloadable program. I think the charge was $14.95. I thought of it like spending money on a guidebook but this was more customized to me. I thought it was worth it. We didn't follow the schedule, mainly, because we never got to the parks are early as we had planned, but the overall advice was very good. The tips are very worthwhile and work in any instance.
