What is interesting is that many cell phones today are computers so now the Gov can search your "computer" without a warrant. Now go back 9 years when the Gov was denied a warrant to search the computer of Zacharais Moussaoaui (the 20th hijacker).

Amazing...and it won't hold up. It is a violation of the constitution, and I am sure it will be appealed at some point to the Federal Supreme court and it will be overturned.

In the current climate I wouldn't be surprised if it did hold up. Remember, we're a nation all about giving up freedoms as long as we don't have anything to hide - no one is going to rush to defend a person's right to keep the texts about his drug business private, and most will assume the practice could never apply to them in any way.

I don't have anything incriminating, but that doesn't mean I'd want _anyone_ looking at my cellphone (Or computer, or in my purse...). It's the principal of it all that bothers me.
