little things like tipping Mousekeeping, which I never knew about. Is there anything I should know before we go for our first WDW trip?

The biggest thing is to prepare, prepare and prepare! Know where your going , how you are going to get there and where your eating, make reservations if you are not eating counter service. While you are there, relax and enjoy! Slow down and take the time to notice the magic!

The only thing I can think of is that if you have read things like dining menus and non-park type of things to do or even behind the scene tours, be aware that you need to make reservations if you want to do any of those things. However, if you are aware of ADRs, etc., and you have considered using them or not and you know about mousekeeping tips, then you are ready to have fun! So relax, enjoy and enjoy the magic of Disney!

The best advice I can give is.........Plan time to relax.

Not sure where you're staying, but lay out a general schedule, and put plenty of time slots in to just relax. Whether it's just sitting at one of the pasrks and people watching (one of my favorite activities), or heading back to your hotel and lounging at the pool. Even if you aren't staying there, take a boat ride from the MK over to Wilderness Lodge. Take it in. Sit in the lobby and chill for a while. It is quite a peaceful place.

I've seem too many vacations melt down when people try to be park commandos. Some can pull it off. Most suffer a severe melt down along the way. Kicking the pace back a notch, and planning in relax time, is our key to success.
