Hey everyone.. long time lurker here and I'm looking for any advice or tips for our first MK day.. Myself, Dh and 3 children (10, 8, 2) will have 3 MK days but my dad, stepmom, brother(16) and niece(15) will be joining us only for the 1st one so I want to make sure they are able to do as much as possible without having to criss cross all over the park. We have a 12:15 lunch at BOG so I was thinking we get there at opening and start with POTC, then big thunder, splash and HM. Then a FP for peter pan maybe at 1030 (or later??)? then a FP for 7dmt next, we will standby a few other things in
fantasyland. Have our 12:15 BOG lunch and then have a 1pm FP for Space mountain and try for 4th for the Buzz ride then watch the parade and head back to wilderness lodge for some pool time and then come back in thr evening. WE will most likely skip a lot of the shows and character meets for another MK day because I don't think they will be interested. If it matters crowd wise this will be May 1st which is a tuesday. Will this plan work or should we do the opposite and start at Space and go around the other way?

Sounds like a good plan. We like doing roller coaster rides before we eat a lunch.

Sounds great. I like the Adventureland or Frontierland start. Not doing Jungle Cruise?

Probably save that for one of our other MK days .. this is our first time and planning MK especially has been overwhelming because I want to do it all!

I feel if your going to split the park up into doing Adventureland and Frontierland first you should try and get Jungle Cruise in and best option would be to RD this area and head to JC first SM and BTMRR. I would do Buzz later or skip it for other day. You right there before lunch anyway. Rope Drop would be great option here to get this area done and not use a FP, maybe.

I would Ride Splash before Thunder Mountain. The line builds up faster for Splash Mountain.

But May 1st should be a pretty low crowd day so you should be able to get a lot in if you are there at rope drop.

That sounds like what I would do, zig when others zag; that is, head to Adventureland while crowds head to Fantasyland. Your plan mirrors my own in 2014. You have your FP+ strategically placed and an ADR for BOG for lunch. You have a great plan there.
