Anything for wannabe golfer?

Are there any attractions for wannabe golfers? My husband watches it constantly on TV but has never actually golfed. (not counting putt putt). Just wondering if there was anything like a "virtual golf" game that would seem like you are actually golfing for real.

there are golf simulators off-site, but I haven't seen any at a resort. maybe at DisneyQuest?

There are driving ranges and golf lessons available at all the WDW courses. Other than that, though, there's nothing on Disney property that will simulate golf.

Thanks, just thought I'd ask. I think he thinks he's Tiger Woods or something. I dont know the facination but maybe this spring he can go to a local course and try it.

head over to fanstasia gardens mini-golf behind the swan and dolphin. there's two courses, one typical putt-putt, and one's that set up like a real course (sand traps, rough, etc).

There is a virtual golf game at Disney Quest. It's a blast! I beat DH, he's a golfer and I'm not.

Ok, now we have to got to Disney Quest. I wasn't sure if we were going to go there, but if there is a golf simulator, I will have to do that! Our trip will be about 10 days including pre/post Disney stuff. That is a LONG time away from a course for us golf addicts!

Just an FYI about the golf game at DQ. It's not like the othere virtual reality games where you swing a club toward the screen. This game actually uses a rolling type ball that sits on the top of the machine. Remember the old centipede games where you move the ball left to right and back and forth? It's just like that. You may have seen the game before as I've seen the same game at a local bar and grill. It's a lot of fun though and the games are all linked so you can compete with other players and actually win money. Just wanted to clarify since you called it a "golf simulator" - it's not like the simulators where you hit the ball toward the screen. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks for the heads up. I would have been VERY disapointed if I went there and it was just a video game!
