I've been shopping around for airline prices for my August trip, and have recently found a great deal at Expedia.com. 2-way, Buffalo to Orlando and back for $129 American. That's great compared to the other prices i've been getting, but is there anything cheaper?

(I'd love to find it's equivalent in Canadian funds departing from T.O. Hey, I can dream, can't I?)

Our family of four is leaving Buffalo on August 25, direct to Orlando for a total cost of $448 US, tax included. You will never find a price like that flying out of Toronto im afraid, but dreaming is good, ha.

Out of curiosity, who'd you book your flight with? It seems like that could be cheaper then my flight price. (I listed the per person price, but there's 2 of us going)

We are flying southwest airlines, Leaving the 25th returning sept 1st. This is our 3rd time flying with them, and have had no problems.

Thanks alot. I looked, and couldn't obtain a cheaper fair for when we're leaving, but thanks for the info anyways. :)

What are the taxes like to fly out of Buffalo compared to the taxes at Pearson? $129 US is a great price!! Congrats on the great find :)

I checked mousesavers, and the southwest flights coming back from florida at that price are all booked. lol. Those prices are for a two way flight deal, but the prices that are listed are actualy counting towards a one way flight only. (Does that make any sense?) So it's only listing half the price. If your going there and back, then your paying twice the price of their "great deal".

As for the taxes out of buffalo, i'm not really to sure. It's not as much as a place like priceline.. ($40 U.S in tax.. eeek!) my $129 US (Per person, roundtrip ticket) it the total amount, including tax. (the deal can be found at Expedia or at American Airlines) so converting that into canadian, it's still MUCH cheaper then flying out of Pierson International.

We were lucky and got the Friends Fly Free Promotion a few months ago, we are flying from Buffalo on southwest to Orlando for $672.00 US for 6 people. We lucked out, but a site you MAY want to check is JetBlue.com they have some pretty cheap prices the only draw back is you have to stop over in JFK in NYC. JetBlue is an awesome airline. Goodluck

We booked flights from BUF to MCO in early August since the price was too low to ignore. The tickets were U$77 each with U$43 in taxes and charges. If you have an airline preference there may be a few dollars to save booking on their own website (Northwest save about 4 dollars per ticket on their website with code PE600 for example)

We live by Toronto airport but normally only fly from there on reward tickets as we typically save C$100+ for the two of us from BUF (even taking into account parking). The difference is partly due to higher taxes and Pearson charges, partly to Southwest/JetBlue competition at BUF.

I've tried southwest and jet blue and no suck luck. Perhaps it's the day's i'm going and coming back, but i can't get a price cheaper then $129 American. That's ok, casue i'm really happy with that price... time to go and purchase the tickets then.

One last question... How do those web tickets work?

What dates do you want? Our first flight on 7th August had 36 seats open in coach when we booked it on 9th July - last night there were only 16 open. Even on the first day of that fare the Saturday and Sunday were not available for our route.

Web tickets? You can print out a receipt online, they can fax or email you a receipt. Many airlines have electronic checkin where you put in the credit card you used to buy the electronic ticket and it checks you in.

The terms and conditions vary wildly between sites. nwa.com provide a day's cooling off period for example - you can cancel bookings made on their website with no charge by midnight the next day. I always use the airline's own site where possible so there is no superfluous third-party.

Not sure what info you want - ask if there is anything else

I'm leaving August 24th, and flying back August 31st... Expedia dropped their price to $127US, so that's the best price i've found so far.. :)

You want to travel Saturday in August? Returning Labour Day weekend? You have not booked yet?

I see no availability in any airline from Orlando to Buffalo on August 31st. There are still a few outbound flights on 24th.

Northwest are showing a U$123.50 for Aug24 to Sep 1 with reasonable times. I think you should book something soon before they are all gone!

We are actually going from Buffalo on Aug 24th until Labour Day but we booked it a long while ago.

Hi neighbour! I'm from Waterloo. We are flying August 17 from buffalo to Orlando for $132.00 USD each on US air. I can't find prices like that anywhere now (we book in April) that have decent fly times (we depart noon each way). If you can get those rates with decent fly times go for it!

umm.. there are lots of returns still available on the 31st.. they're just in the morning, not the afternoon or the evening.

I'm heading off for $127 per person, American Airlines. I can't stay later and head back early Sept. casue of College/University obligations...

Hiyas tlens... wow.. Waterloo.. that's close. :) (more or less the same city.. hehe..)

I'm gunna check out US Air.. :)

Nope... nothing there... not for cheaper then $300USD at least. I'm sticking with the $127 from Expedia.com. :)

we booked for mil sept 3 -10th for 115$ tax in southwest.... so 127$ is not far off the best price out of buffalo for that time ...

what is good about southwest ,though, is NON stop 2 and 1/2 hours to orlando....

Sounds great... I looked into Southwest, and they're all sold out for return flights.. (non stop ones) and the others make it more expensive then $127. That, and i'm not entirely comfortable with the first come, first serve method that Southwest uses. Tho, i wish i had a non-stop flight..
