I'm planning a possible spring trip that's after the dates of the current free dining promotion. If they post another promotion code--percentage off room or whatever--I want to take advantage of it as soon as possible. But I don't want to have to check a website every single day. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get an alert emailed to you when a new deal is posted?

Thanks! :)

Nothing that I have heard of. Cruising the DIS blogs have been the best for me. Though the FD package we booked was talked about as a rumor about a week or more before being officially announced. Some CM's tell a little more than they are supposed to and the info winds up on the blog. So maybe every few days check in for a few minutes or so. It should pop out if there is a promo.

You can sign up for both mousesavers.com and allearsnet.com's newsletters, and 'hot deals' announcements. They don't necessarily give you an alert every time there is a WDW discount, but they do send you emails alerting you to lots of news and discounts. They are great abuot letting me know when WDW ticket prices are going to go up! so that alone can be a great help. It's pretty easy to scroll through the content. From my experience, when WDW has a major deal, the phones get flooded, so maybe that's part of it.

Hello,
I am also wanting to book a trip for next year in June to WDW. I hope for a discount. Thank you everyone. This has been very good info.:thumbsup2

Another thig you can try to sign up for email alerts from your airline.

Truthfully, the ORIGINAL reason I started on the DIS was to find out about discounts.

Once upon a time it was a simple matter to find the discounts section. IT was one section and all the discounts were easily listed. Th only ones listed were about WDW and related travel discounts.

Then the discounts started to encompass anything under the sun. then they broke another section for codes, and PINs....and now I hardly use the DIS for discounts at all....

I just spend WAY too much time debating silly things, and reminding folks to bring high quality walking shoes when they go to WDW....:confused3

FYI you might want to try the discount rates and codes board here on the Dis, although people are using this board a lot for these types of questions, this board is not for discount promotions it is more for themes or celebrations Disney does and has done in the past. The discount rates and codes board will have more activity with more up to date information than this board
