Sorry if this is the wrong board....I know it's not necesarily restaurant.....but it's PS so I thought maybe it fit here.

We're trying to come up with something special for the kids to do for our trip this December. This is for 2 8YO girls, a 6YO boy, and a 5YO girl. There will also be an almost 4YO and 2 3YOs, but I think the age limit for all of the programs is 4YO so we'll have to find something else to do with them during that time.

Does anyone have experiance with these programs? I would guess that they are hard to get PS for because the space is so limited, right? The wonderland Tea looks okay, but I really think the kids would enjoy the Pirates treasure hunt or Adventures in cooking.

Thanks :)

Actually the Wonderland Tea Party allows children that are age 3. It is the only children's event at GF that allows 3 YOs. MY 3YO is signed up for this in July, so if you're looking for something that they can all do together, the Wonderland Tea Party is the one. My children ( 6 and 3) have never been, but my neice LOVED it, so we're giving it a go this year.

My DD attended the Wonderland Tea Party last summer. She loved it. If I remember correctly, they get to interact with the Mad Hatter and Alice. The get a "special" tea, chicken nuggets and a cupcake. They also get a keepsake picture w/ autographs. We are probably going to try the Adventures in Cooking during this years trip or possibly the new Princess Tea- I am just waiting to hear more feedback on that one.

By the way has anyone been to the new Princess Tea yet?

My DD loved the Pirate Cruise...I think she was about seven at the time. She was never a "clingy" kid, rather she was always very independent and adventurous, so she just jumped on the boat and waved "Bye".
The pirate cruise lasts about an hour and a half, and the CM's take the kids around the Seven Seas Lagoon, in search of "Treasure." Definitely a hightlight of the trip for her. I would book that cruise for your party, it will be so much fun for them all to go as a group! We've done the tea-party too, but that is cute, sweet, nice ect. but the Pirate Cruise will be much more fun!:D

My dd's did both events last month. The events were the hit of the trip! The girls are already planning to do both events next trip. They have told all their friends and cousins about their pirate adventure. I think they felt very grown-up at the tea party. They were all smiles after both events. My only wish is that Disney would take pictures during the events. We have one from the tea party with Alice and The Mad Hatter, but that's it . The girls tried to use disposable cameras but only a few pictures came out. I would pay good money to see a video of the pirate cruise! The girls did so many things they couldn't remember them all. Our next trip will be considered a "Grand Gathering" and we will have more children with us, I am definately encouraging this event for everyone's itenerary.
