Last time we went to MK (2003), my DDs were pulled (gently) into the parade by some of the characters and they loved it. Since it's been awhile, do they still allow kids to participate? What about parades at the other parks?

no, none of the parades allow particpants now. In fact we were there last week and they are very strict now about staying behind the line etc.

Ever since that tragic accident with a CM, I think they have had to re look at audience participation. The MK parade now does not stop. The characters do interact a lot more with the audience however.

We where waiting for the parade at MK last September and my kids where part of a pre-parade show.....it was fun for us, they where embarrased :rotfl2: .

yes, you are right.. they are still doing the pre parade stuff.. like hopscotch and skipping etc we saw at MGM..

they are all along the route...

We saw them at MGM .... basically in the parade route bit in front of the Hat (well quite a way in front of it, but that sort of area)

In December, our 6YO daughter was asked to "start" the Spectromagic parade at MK; don't know who was more thrilled...her or us!
