Anyone work with a Christmas Charity?

We have a toys for tots type program and I am on the board. We got our preliminary numbers the other day for our registration and they are pretty high. Is anyone else seeing this too? We are trying to figure out if people are just more on the ball this year and getting their registration in early or if our numbers are going to be that much higher this year. If they are that much higher (we are almost double what we usually have this time of year) we need to push harder for more donations and time is running out.
