Anyone with November history??

I am "this close" to booking our first cruise and think we may be able to go the very end of November, after Thanksgiving. Has anyone been at this time in the past? I was a bit concerned about the weather???? Also, was curious as to whether they decorate for the holidays at that time like they do at the parks. Any input on that time frame would be greatly appreciated

We went that week in 2003 and loved it. The weather is wonderful, the ship is decorated for Christmas and it didn't seem to be very crowded. It was a little strange to be riding in a boat in St. Martin with the temp a balmy 85 degrees and hear "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas"!

We just sailed the Magic (November 25-December 2, 2006) and the weather just okay. St. Marteen was beautiful and in the 80's and it rained in St. Thomas was alittle chilly. Castaway Cay was the best out of all them. It was in the 90's and sunny. It was very weird to be in 90 degrees and have Christmas music and a large Christmas tree. We also have 20ft waves and alot of rough water. I hope this helps you make your decision.

We sailed 11/5/05 and 11/11/06. We had great weather both weeks. In fact, were going again at that time this year.

Thanks for the information! Booked it a couple of days ago, so now the waiting begins.

At least reading everyone's wonderful trip reports will help me make it thru until it FINALLY gets here!

hey, you say you booked it, but what date did you book??
We went last year the week after Thanksgiving and are going again this year and next year.
So if your going 11/24/07 or 11/29/08 come join us on our cruise meets thread.
We have a great group on both threads, many of us cruised last year together and many of us are on the 11/24 /07 together again , plus we are all booking 11/29/08.
